Hello, I need help with my Gorenje rf62309oc Refrigerator. It is a beautiful mashine and i would like to fix it. It is very simple system. With a simple compressor and a PCB control. The compressor is running and i feel the one side is getting hot and the otherside feels cool. I cleaned the condensor coils and made sure there are no heat sources und it has enough space to get fresh air. On the PCB ive got 5 Connectors. Power IN/Compressor powerLightTempreture sensorFan in the cooling unit ( no Connection/ airflow from freezer just circulating air in the cooler? dont know? maybe defrost heater or sensor? Cable looks pretty tiny for being used for a heater. What can i do for troubleshooting? I dont think i can get to the evaporator coils. Atleast there are no obvious way to disassemble the freezer compartment. I would really appreciate help. Thanks.
Hi @niklasjakob , What is the actual temperature in the freezer compartment and also the refrigerator compartment? Keep the doors closed for about 15 minutes to allow a thermometer to give an accurate reading. Can you hear the evaporator fan turn off and on when the refrigerator door is opened and shut. The evap fan should operate as long as the compressor is running. When the door is opened the fan will stop but the compressor should still run. When the door is closed it should start again. There is not much information online about your model so just guessing that it works like most other simple refrigerators. The product sheet doesn’t mention auto defrost so if it doesn’t do this there won’t be a defrost heater. Do you have to manually defrost it?
