Ah! Then you’ve created the problem! SMC will reduce the CPU’s clocking and raise the fans RPM’s as it wants to protect your system from overheating! Which is what SMC is worried about. When you disconnect either its thermal or voltage sensors you triggered SMC into this state. The solution is fix the defect in the camera connector
