The TV turns on, green led comes on. No picture or sound. Backlight flashing every 20 secs or so, followed by a clicking sound from the relay on the power board. When I turn off and back on, and then change the source with the remote, eg from tuner to HDMI, I get picture for a brief 1 or 2 seconds and then it goes blank again. During the 2 secs with picture, I can also hear a very low buzzing sound. Troubleshooting steps I tried: Inspected all boards for faulty caps. The power board looked like it had a faulty cap, so ordered a new board and replaced. The situation did not change at all, backlight still flashing followed by the relay click. This ruled out any faults with the power board.Next, I inspected the inverter board. However, taking into consideration there is no picture and sound, I ruled out the inverter board as well.As far as I can tell, I am left with a fault on either the tcon board or the main board. I would appreciate it if anyone could guide me find out which one. I have a multimeter so I can take readings on the pins. Thanks for taking the time to read this post! Edit: I have attached the photos of the power board, inverter board and the whole rear view.

@ozanballer you did not tell us if you get any error codes flashing from the power LED when you turn your TV on. From what you are describing I would take a look at the voltages from the power board to the main board as well as the power going to the backlight strips. Let us know what you are getting on those. The Sony SM is a bit spotty (typical) so we are relying on your measurements etc. My main suspect at this time is a faulty mainboard since you have neither sound nor video. Post some good pictures of your boards and wiring layout with your QUESTION. That way we can see what you see.
