So my power adaptor broke 3 months ago so i took another charger and took the magsafe connector and connect it together. it connects and green light turns on but doesn’t charge i tried it with another macbook and it charges.

Sadly, you damaged your charging logic inside your system. Often times when the MagSafe cord fails it can short out the signal line which then damages the charging logic. Review this Apple T/N to make sure you’ve got the correct MagSafe adapter and the cable & connector are both in good shape. I don’t recommend patching the MagSafe cable as you did here Apple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters As to fixing your problem you’ll need to work up the chain starting with replacing the DC-In Board following this guide MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Late 2011 MagSafe DC-In Board Replacement If that doesn’t change things you’ll need to get someone to fix the logic board.
