Grey Bar With Washed Out Colors On Screen Macbook Pro 13 Retina Display Late 2013

My MacBook Pro has a vertical bar where colors are washed out. I’d like to figure out if this is logic board or screen related so that I can get it fixed. Anyone else experience a similar issue?

Hook it up to an external monitor to verify that it is the display that needs to be replaced. UPDATE now the only problem will be finding a reasonably priced display: Look for one about $350.
