My Toshiba CT-8533 TV, once turned on, after about 2 minutes it will lose the image when grey lines on the right start to appear. The sound is still running, it will then cycle through different colours - white, red, blue, green. The only way to stop this is to turn the TV off, wait a few minutes, then back on. However this has stopped working now and as soon as the TV is on, it cycles through the colours. It’s just over a year old, is there anything I can do to fix this?
I had this problem with my monitor that I bought at a thrift shop The controller on the bottom of the TV may be busted if you take off the back and disconnect the control board(the board with the buttons the turns the tv on or off) you will most likely still be able to use the remote still if not you will have to turn the tv on and off by unplugging it
