Chosen Solution
The grinder grinds the beams, then seems to slowly attempt to make coffee (nothing comes out) then it drops to ground beans into the grounds holder. No coffee/liquid come out, though.
I had a similar problem, and solved it by turning the grinder by hand against resistance. Apparently the grinder wasn’t really turning during the cycle and needed to be cleared.
