Hi, I purchase a BTY - m6m battery for the GS66 on ebay. After swapping in the new battery, I try to boot with charger plugged in. The laptop will boot, however it will shut down after it reach the MSI logo. Other things I noticed is the white light for the charging port flicker off & on. I swapped back the old battery in and everything seems to work again. Is there a problem with the new battery, or did I missed a step during the installation?
@soundion Seems like a problem with the replacement battery. You’ve tried what the seller suggested and that didn’t work and the original still works so the problem is not in the laptop or what you’ve done, so get a replacement or a refund
