Microwave stopped working but the time on the control panel would count down when we tried to use the oven. The repair guy said it was the door safety switch which he replaced. Now the light doesn’t work. Is this all connected? Does something else need fixing?
Can you please specify the make and model of the microwave. It makes sense that a single door switch would be in both the safety and lighting controls.
