I had my ipod touch screen broken, i was replacing it but when i changed my screen the ipod just went black, i tested the screen before and it was working perfectly, but now it simply went black, the ipod works perfectly otherwise (plays music, connects to computer and so)

When doing this repair there is a lot that you have to pay attention to. did you double-check that you didn’t rip the fpc cables for the charging port and the battery? Are you certain that you made all of your connections correctly with the new screen? When installing the new LCD Assembly did you manipulate the cables in an abnormal manner that may have caused damage to the connections on the LCD where the cables connect to the screen and not the other end where the FPC connections are? Please provide more info!
