Chosen Solution
Bought an old Late 2011 13’ MacBook pro with a dead HDD in it, bought an SSD, erased and set up recovery mode (cmd+r), in recovery mode, it won’t allow me to download and install macOS Lion, get the error “Can’t download the additional components needed to install Mac OS X “. Checked connection, no problem, can’t even boot from the HDD to clone. Any ideas on how to get Lion on it?
