I am seeing a lot of the same issues on the 13" MacBook Pro 2011-12 as on the 15" & 17" but it was not part of the MacBook Pro Repair Extension Program for Video Issues; https://www.apple.com/support/macbookpro… Has anyone tried a reflow on the GPU? If so what were your results. I’ll be trying it in the morning. UPDATE When cold the machine runs fine. After two hours of video play I get artifacts on the screen and it shuts down. Will reboot for only about two minutes and shuts down again.
To me this sounds like overheating, is the heatsink fitted properly? not loose or missing screws or anything?
