Hello! I bought this PS4 as “Broken” for a steal. I’ve fixed and cleaned it however the only problem that resides is that it sucks in the disc very weirdly. You sorta have to push it a little bit and it’ll go eee-eee-eee, and struggles to take in the disc. HOWEVER it DOES take the disc in and reads it fine. Its functional. However I want to sell it, so the disc struggling to get sucked in isn’t ideal to sell. Nothing wrong looks wrong with it the disc drive. Everything is clean and looks as though it should work properly. Thanks!
It sounds like the two rollers that actually grabs and takes the game disc needs to be cleaned. You do have to open the bottom cover of your ps4 and then open you blu ray drive..
