Have a Samsung 3D TV. When turning on, can hear audio and see a small white dot near bottom left edge of screen,. rest of screen is dark grey in colour. Is it worth repairing?

I would suggest you try and see what it ends up costing you etc. As for the grey screen and white dot. We would need to see this. Post some good images of what your screen shows with your QUESTION. Adding images to an existing question From what it sound like you are looking at the backlight turning on and one of your LED’s may have a lost diffuser cap. If so, and since you do have audio, my first prime suspect would be a bad T-Con board or a bad main board. We will have to know the model and possibly see your boards. Once you remove the back cover we possibly have more information for you.
