I did the system update last nite. Today it will not let me go intob d ome facebook areas such as events or friends timelines. It tajes me back to menu everytime
I also downloaded the update, now I cant get e-mails or internet. It hangs for a few seconds and then goes back to main screen. Its not an App problem, its the Samsung Update. Can’t find a way to uninstall.
Same problems here, tried all of the suggested fixes as well and still no solution.
Im having the same problems with facebook.
Same probem as users have here with face book, but I also noiticed that youtube stops during viewing and SD card shows me that it was removed suddenly rror every time when Face book drops me out. and ofcourese it started after I have updated to last version of 4.4.2 Waiting for solution from your side. Michael
Finally I found people with the same problem I’m having. Still haven’t seen zan answer. Does Google even care?

Just spoke to Samsung…..Facebook’s app is the culprit - it is not compatible with the tablet’s newest update. Contact Facebook to see when they will provide an update for their app. In the mean time go through your internet browser on your tablet to access facebook.
System updated my tab3 yesterday, as tab message requested I do so……… now facebook is not working properly. Whenever I try to go into notifcations facebook just hangs with a white screen for a couple of seconds then takes me straight out of facebook and back to my home screen! Have tried all the same things, as other people on here, to rectify the problem but nothing works?…….have also tried accessing via internet but still unable to easily access my notifications………..hate this new system update, wish I hadn’t bothered as everything was running just fine before I did it………feeling so frustrated and cross, facebook has now been rendered absolutely useless!!!!!!!………if anyone knows how this problem can be rectified I would be very interested to know your solution……….. : (
Try googling for an older version of facebook. Version 3.5 works. Once installed, go to google play and make sure auto update isnt selected

Installed the latest update for Facebook a couple days ago and since then I cannot open up the account. When I click on the icon, it goes black and stalls my phone. I have to power off and restart my phone.
I cannot get my Facebook account on my Samsung Galaxy 6 phone send me code through text message as can’t get emails as changed thank you
