Chosen Solution
Hello everyone, I have a 3TB WD External Non-portable (the one with power adopter). It was working fine until recently I disconnected the USB cable while windows was still shutting down. Now the drive runs only for a few mins and then it disappears from ‘My Computer’. I am using Windows 7 64bit. I don’t want to lose data but want the drive’s functionality to get back to normal. Is there anything I can do from my home? Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
If it is running when connected then disappear it can be a lose sata cable issue try to use another one may be the HDD sata controller is faulty. try to replace both one by one
