So the HDMI port on my PS3 Super-Slim is loose. There is no signal from the port to the TV. What are the chances that it just needs to be resoldered to the board? And is that a pretty easy thing to do? I’ve soldered before, but it’s not a thing I have a ton of experience with so if this takes precision then i’d better leave it to someone else.
An hdmi port on a playstation should be left to someone who has experience with them. Often times, there are little resistors or transistors directly behind the hdmi port. If these are knocked off during an attempted repair, the playstation will not give out a signal again.
