Hi, i replaced my charging port because last one didn’t work. Now i got everything to work except headphone jack and touch id. Are home button and headphone jack somehow related? I see some kind of pins on top of the headphone jack, is it somehow connected with touch id? And does my touch id still work when charging port replaced? I know touch id is related with motherboard, but i have the original home button. I have also a app battery doctor and it writes my battery is partially charging and if i use my phone when its charging then battery % seems to drop, but when i don’t then % goes up. Anyway is my charging port low quality or maybe i missed something when i replaced my charging port? If so maybe can you give me some info? Thanks in advance.
Sounds like the charging flex you got is faulty which could cause all the issues you have detailed, I would try replacing it again and see if that solves them. If it doesn’t fix the touch ID then check the home button flex cable as you may have damaged it when doing the original repair.
