I have changed screen on an iPhone 7. I don’t know if it’s after the repair och after the drop, but now headphones not working at all, meanwhile charging does. I have tried: Reball sound IC New dock connector Update Restore Any suggestions? Can’t find anything on the cyberspace about this.
try a different audio ic (u can harvest one from 6s/6s plus) also there are 4 pads under the audio ic on the 7 that tend to detach from the board and require micro jumper wires to be ran to restore the connection. also examine your replacement dock connector under the microscope, some cheap replacements sometimes will just glue on components or put the wrong components in.
