Hi! I was trying to do a simple screen replacement, but it seems like my used MacBook had a stripped screw here:
I tried the ‘rubber band’ method, and the super glue, and finally gave in and tried the Dremel. I got it slotted and about a quarter turn in before the whole half of the screw head came off and its now basically flush with the surface. What are my options now?
Try a flat jawed plier straight down hopefully you can grasp it enough to turn. Otherwise carefully grind just at the screws post slightly to snap the other side off. Update (06/23/2020)
