from google images I’ve learned that I have an iMac… I don’t know how old (although second had) or its model! For 3 days now it’s “loading” bar does not go past half way. I have tried as suggested resetting and holding down the “Shift” key, and while I suprised myself in finding said key, alas it did not work. So I seek help from all more knowledgeable than me (please be kind and gentle!aka no computer language) Many thanks in advance, Betsy.
