Chosen Solution
This just happened when I unpacked my New nintedo 3ds XL, I tried to change the R / L button it had worked, in the last stage I want to install batre but accidentally overturned and when the light is blinking red, then I try to put it right and happen. !!!! My Nintendo can not turn on anymore, but I try to charge the orange lights still can burn. the situation is like in the photo, so what exactly happened ????? what should i do to fix it ????? Please help -Thank you very much
batteries dont need to be turned to install into the device, so im a little confused as to what exactly you mean when it stiopped working. The orange light turning on means the board is receiving a charge signal. i would take a multimeter to the leads of your battery, and make sure youre reading the desired output voltage. then try the leads to the battery connector and verify it is tansferring to the board properly. if these work fine, then it is time to move on to the power flex, and Sub PBA. make sure you have continuity on the power button, and that it is sending the signal to the main logic board. if all of the above test fine, then you have narrowed the problem down to the main logic board.
