I have a Samsung Avant but the power and volume buttons are stuck inside the phone, so pressing them does nothing. I’m trying to extract some music from the phone but I can’t turn on the phone to send myself the music does anyone know any ways to turn on the phone or to extract data from the phone?
Hi @kegs , You may be able to turn on the phone by manually pushing the contact that the button’s actuator normally presses to turn the phone on and off, but you need to open the phone to do this. If this works since the phone is open you may as well find out why the buttons are stuck. Here’s a link to a video that shows how to replace the LCD screen in the phone. I realize that a faulty screen is not the problem with your phone, but the video is useful as it shows how to open the phone so that access to the buttons is possible.
