The Home button on my iPad Air works most of the time, but sometimes pressing it doesn’t wake the device. When this happens, I have to press the button repeatedly or hold it down to wake the device. Can this problem be repaired?
Hi, Replacing the button would probably fix your issue. If your device is under warranty this would be a free replacement. Remember to back up your data by means of iTunes or iCloud before attempting any repair or replacement. The best solution, if this is an option for you, would be to have the device replaced by Apple themselves at an Apple Retail store. If you don’t have an Apple Retail store where you live they can do it over the phone if you call Apple at 1-800 APL-CARE (800–275–2273). Good Luck.
