My Home buttons has stopped from working anymore in a morning so I used assistive touch like a day Next day I thought If I do a factory reset I have added all my data and writes PRESS HOME BUTTON TO CONTINUE If I restart it is useless And on iTunes does not have show me the device is connected.
You can use one of these bad boys to get around this hurdle for the meantime.
