Hello! The drivers side heated seat on my CRV EX is faulty. The back part heats up fine, whereas the bottom section remains cold. Can I repair this without replacing the seat? If anyone can point out a wiring diagram and a method to replace it I’d be grateful. Cheers.
Hi @lorme , Here’s a link to the 2007-2012 Honda CR-V Service And Repair Manual Scroll down and click on the Body Electrical link, click on the reCAPTCHA test and when the pdf document opens scroll down to p.22-278 onwards to find the seat heaters’ wiring circuits. There is a download link at the top right of the pdf document box so that you can download it to your pc to make it easier to use. This section of the manual doesn’t describe how to replace the heater if it is faulty, only the heater switch. The heater is only briefly mentioned in the seat removal/replacement procedures found in the Body section of the manual, starting at p.20-118 and there is nothing about replacing the heater only if it is faulty Hopefully this is of some help
