Chosen Solution
I have a greyish/transparent bar, more like a series of lines at the bottom of the screen. When I rotate the display, the lines remain. Sometimes they aren’t completely there, but a single thin line about 1/2 inch from the bottom seems to always be there. From what I have read, I believe it to be the LCD, but I’d like to be a little more certain before I buy the part and open it up. I am confident with doing this type of work, I just want to be sure of the part that is needed. Thank you in advance.
I obviously can’t see what’s it looks like exactly, but my best guess from what you said is that it’s the LCD.
