Chosen Solution
I just recently replaced my LCD screen on iPhone 4s Now there are faint horizontal lines on the display. I see them thru the keys in the keyboard, in the background on safari, and on some game apps. The lines are different shades of whatever the background color is. Everywhere else the screen looks fine. Bad LCD? Bad connection? Any suggestions? Thanks
I just replaced my wife’s screen and same issue. I think its going to be an issue with a faulty LCD screen. However is the LCD is not screwed down properly on the l and r sides where there is 3 screws on each side this can actually cause problems with the touch screen. I’m no expect but when I replaced my screen I had some problems with it and made sure the screws were all tight (1 wasn’t) this seemed to help. But that problem wasn’t lines thou the screen. I am going to take my wife’s phone this weekend and re seat the connectors on the logic board and check all the screws to see if that helps. I’ll update what my findings are as soon as I can.
My iPhone 5c has 5 vertical lines only on the right side and i cannot use that side at all any suggestions on what it might be or how to fix it?
