I have an SM-P580 that is unresponsive (doesn’t power up at all). I don’t have the time to troubleshoot it - I would rather just recycle it, but am concerned about any sensitive data I may have in local storage. Can someone point out the storage chip on this device, and offer any tips on wiping or destroying it?

More than likely it’s the exposed chip here, but if you wanted to break the chips under the shield to be sure, then it won’t harm or hurt you.
