The HDMI port on a 3rd gen apple tv has been munched and i want to replace it. Problem is i have no idea where i can find the part to replace it with.

George, since you have the part in front of you, I would check on places like this and match the ports. Very difficult and unlikely to obtain Apple board level components and it is a lot easier to match those they use. Hope this helps, good luck.
