I have a Classic Blue 3DS XL with a broken antenna It causes my system to crash when it’s active, and it won’t let me connect to the internet How can IFIXIT
Hi @jaxtronaut Is the antenna literally broken or is it just that the WiFi is not working properly? If the WiFi is just not working properly, have you tried using the device right next to the WiFi modem/router (within 30cm) to see if there is a stable internet connection? If there is then this is usually indicative of a loose or faulty antenna and not a faulty WiFi card Here’s a link a 3DS XL antenna replacement guide. At Step.20 in the guide you can check if the antenna is securely connected to the WiFi card. If it appears to be OK, you may have to replace the antenna and if it is still faulty perhaps the WiFi card is the cause of the problem.
