Im using a Lenovo 49, I’ve replaced my RAM card once. I had 2Gb and now I have 4Gb. But I still want to upgrade my RAM… However I cant find the second RAM slot. Could you please help me?
Hi Thomas , Are you sure that in your laptop there is a second ram slot ? Usually, the ram slots are located in the same place.
Both the first and second ram slots are in the same place, only they’re stacked on top of each other. Take a look at page 46-47 of the service manualfor a schematic how they’re positioned. If you only see one module in your laptop at that location, there’s only the one installed. You can add a second on top of that if you want to.
