In step 4 of Installing MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2009 Dual Hard Drive I broke the cable union, or so I think I did as I cannot reattach it back… PLEASE what can I do to reattach it? The left speaker sucks! Is there anyway to sold it or glue it or anything?
Glue is nonconducting. Soldering the component is the only “fix” however Logic Board Soldering is not for amateurs. It requires special tools, solder and lots and lots of practice so as not to damage the board with too much heat. A small electronics repair shop/computer repair shop could probably do this for you. Not every step of a DIY repair must be done by “yourself”. If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it.
