I forget my bios password of legion y520 15ikbn Please help me to remove password. I have warranty of my device till march 2019 but they can’t help at my case. they says no warranty on forgotten bios password your have no more warranty on your motherboard but if other components fails, sure there is. Any solution for this? (I can ignore my remaining warranty because I think there is no possibility of failure of other components, I really cared my device but I don’t know how I forget my password.)
you’d need to physically reset the bios but on most newer lenovos the bios is backed up in nonvolatile memory so you cant do the old cmos rest. send it away say it’s freezing on the bios logo, ask them to update bios for you.
