Hello, I want to buy my son the new banana phone, but I cant trust him with wifi accessibility, is it possible to remove the wifi chip on the phone? Thanks, Mendel :)
It’s an easy teardown but not much for information in regards to a chip for wifi. Most parts are soldered to motherboard. I’m not sure what it is capable of, but an app is probably more of what you need. There is one I’ve used “screen time parental controls” which controls screen time. App access, sees browsing history, and you can shut down usage if need be by schedule or instantly via your Nokia 8110 4G Teardown
Hi @nhfh Check if the mobile data setting has been selected for the correct SIM card Go to Settings > Network & Connectivity > SIM Manager. Choose which SIM to use for mobile data, select Data , and select SIM1 or SIM2
You cannot remove WiFi chip. It’s SoC so everything is in one chip which is named Snapdragon 205.
