Chosen Solution
Long story short, the 3.5mm cable is broken and the headphone is not working anymore. Is there any way to replace/solder a new cable ? Any help will be appreciated.
heres a guide for Seinheizer headphones, but the concept is transferrable to most. Disassembling Over-Ear Headphone Sennheiser HD4199 cut the gasket and pull through the cable, then apply new, cable. check a local electronics supply store for new reinforcing gasket that will fit your hole.
It been 2 years since you asked the question. I have a possible solution which is remove the aux cable build in the headphone and cut off the 1m female aux head and solder the cable to the headphone. You can’t take off the 1m cable but you still can use the 3m cable that comes with the headphone. Watch this video to see how to fix it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TQfTcIN…
