My headphone stopped working on the left side, and only works sometimes when the cable is flexed at the hinge, so I guess it would be ideal if I replaced the headband wire, but, how do I open the headband? It’s covered in a textile material that looks like a fabric.
I’ve already opened up the cups, but I guess I’ll have to replace that wire (that contains 6 wires inside).
Hello, Remove the two external screws on the inside of the headphones -they should be directly above the earpieces- and then pull up the plastic ring on the outside of the headphones. It is glued down so a heat gun and/or jimmy would probably be helpful. Once the plastic ring is up, it should be fairly straightforward: remove the screws you see, pop it open.
