Hi guys! I recently bougth a used chromebook pixel on eBay. Unfortunately, it is ‘managed by …’ and I have no idea about how to reset it. Is it possible? Thank you so much and sorry for my bad english :)

I seem to have accidentally deleted my first answer :(. You could try following this guide to “power-wash” your device externally to the logon screen. I am assuming that you are using the device for personal reasons and will not need to “enrol” your device in to another organisation. Regards Alex

do ctrl shift alt r to wipe it

I recommend trying to contact the organization that manages it to untie it for you. If the organization isn’t strict you should be able to wipe it but other than that it’s pretty much impossible.

You typically can’t just power-wash managed Chromebooks, and reinstalling Chrome OS won’t work as the Chromebook won’t let you sign in to it, kind of like Apple’s Activation Lock. There’s a similar question How can I reset a managed chrome book back to factory, but it requires opening the Chromebook, entering developer mode, and changing the serial number
