Chosen Solution
My home button was working perfectly a couple of weeks ago then became selectively responsive. Now, it does not work at all. I’ve had the phone for a year and a half so it’s beggining to be really laggy and slow so I am trying to restart it which includes pressing both the home button and lock button at the same time. However, my home button does not work and the assistive touch home button does not seem to work with the lock button so is there any other way to restart the phone without losing any data or backing anything up.
Hold the power button down and swipe to power off.
