I have a Lenovo 100S Chromebook, serial number LR04HMFR if you need it, and I was wondering if I could, how would I go about upgrading my 16G storage to something like 120G.

The hard drive for this device is actually soldered directly onto the motherboard. Unless you are very skilled with a soldering iron, it will not be easy to remove. I highly suggest simply just investing in an external hard drive if you are looking for more memory to store your files.

step 1 undo the screw on the back Step 2 gently remove the hard drive (it is silver) Step 3 Unplug the cable from the hard drive Step 4 put new hard drive in a reconnect cable step5 put screw back in step 6 you’re done
