Hello, Recently, I have been stuck in the Restoring your previous version of windows Loop. I cannot get pass this stage even after 2 hours. I have also tried many methods of booting the laptop in safe mode, to no avail. I know how to enter the BIOS mode, but no safe mode option is there. Need help please. Thank you.
https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.ph… says to use msconfig if F8 doesn’t work. It sounds like you’ve tried what you can already, but I’m bringing what I can find just in case you haven’t seen it. They also say try F7 then F8. Is it running Windows 7 or what OS? If it’s Windows 10, here’s a page with suggestions: https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1013074… Part of it says “after the several try,” and later on it says “Note: If there is no option of Troubleshoot after entering RE, it might be caused by corruption of OS file. We suggest you send the device to your local ASUS Service Center for further examinaiton.” Copy-pasted, their typo. But also suggesting you can’t fix it at home. How very un-iFixit! However sometimes it is worth it to take it in to a shop.
