Then you’ll need to carefully unglue the black cover sheet to get the backlight unit out. Now the real fun part finding the correct LED’s that physically fit and are the same specs. Maybe a magic marker painting the LED’s will offer enough color. Consider the risks! You might want to get a junker to practice on or get a replacement uppercase to check things out.
