My ipad power button is jammed. I tried to press it to shut it down, but it wouldnt push. So I held the home button, and volume button so it would restart. It did, but since my power button is jammed in, it keeps restarting. It wont stop. How do I unstick the button?
I hate to say it, but you have to take the digi and LCD off to get the dents out. If you go this route use a file to file the inside of the frame where the power button is or try a using a flat head screw driver with a hammer to bend it back out. However, I have seen the power buttons and other buttons stick because of soda spilled on it. Then again you would have to take it apart and clean it.
