i broke my nexus 5 D820 upper glass accidentally for few days i was facing no problem working with my phone with a broken glass but now my phone screen is not displaying anything nor touch is working but still my phone is working able to get calls and messaged but not able to access them LATER i realized it could be my display which has shattered possibly and i got it changed also but then also screen is not showing anything. apart from it my phone’s frame assembly is damaged from various places likewise my back panel i have diagnosed my motherboard also it is working fine and the data is safe too can i just swap my present phone’s motherboard into another Nexus 5 D820 without loosing my data ?
Yes,if you have your data stored in the internal space then you can do it. If not , and you have them on external-SD they will ,never be lost and you can put them,in another phone and use them.
I don’t know all the specifications about all the phones out there , so relax .
