Chosen Solution
So I went to clean out my ps4 bro because I assumed it was very very dusty in there. During the process I had to pull out the power supply connector and eventhough I only applied pressure on the right spot the entire connector tore of the motherboard. Can any tell me what I can do to fix this or if it’s even possible to fix?
I could only find guide with a different looking motherboard. Please help me!!1 Thanks in advance
your pads are completely ripped off the mother board. this can be repaired but you will have to have the schematic (ive searched for many and have yet to come across one). once one is obtained, wires will need to be jumped from the closet point of origin to the missing pads (why schematic is needed), then the connector needs to be resoldered on those jumped wires. (going to be difficult) your best bet is to find a repair shop that has either the schematic or experience to get this done. if you find a schematic for your board ( listed on the mother board itself..sch-****) reply back and we can see what can be done.
