My computer has a touchpad that rarely works, is slow, overheats instead of going to sleep 50% of the time, and disconnects from WiFi frequently. HELP ME BE FREE BEFORE I BREAK THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!!! I have a better laptop, but it’s too distracting.

@luigiytp, if you’re not wanting to replace/recycle your current machine; my best advice for your issues is to watch a repair guide on re-applying the thermal paste on your heatsink, as well as making sure you maintain a clean and clear path for the fans to exhaust. To improve your speed, you could upgrade the internal hard drive to a Solid State Drive (such as a Crucial MX500), or a M.2 (such as a Crucial P2), if your motherboard supports it.For your touchpad & connectivity, going to HP’s website and downloading the most recent Networking & touchpad driver for your machine could improve your connection issues, re-installing Windows should be your last option generally, but it can be a great fix for improving any issues or bugs.
