You click button given it restarts starts, but your back where you started when tablet starts back up?????
Try putting it into recovery mode (Turn phone off, hold down power, vol up and home all at the same time), go into wipe cache partition and wipe the cache, then select reboot the system now and let it boot up normally. If that doesn’t work you can try backing up your data doing a factory reset from the recovery mode.
