How can I make my backlight stay on after my HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15 Sleekbook is unplugged from power cord?

Check the power settings in Control Panel. There is a setting on how long to wait before turning off the display. You can also get to the power settings by right clicking on the battery/AC icon.
