Hi, I droped my IPhone 3G into water and now it won’t start up. I really need to get my stuff (numbers, pictures, etc.) out of it. Can you tear it apart and get my info back? Can I tear it apart and get my info back? I already bought a new IPhone so all I want is the info in the old one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Lonnie
When you do a sync in iTunes, it automatically makes a backup of all of that information. Simply plug the new phone into the same computer, and it should ask if you want to restore from a backup. More info: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
You have more hope to get your backup file off the old dead computer then your iphone. Once you retrieve that information you might be able to transfer it to your new comp and restore your new Iphone to it. First off, Mac or PC?
