My HP mini 210-1100 is slow in performance. It has a 1GB ram, Intel(R) Atom CPU N455 @ 1.66GHz.I want to know wether i can make improvements to it to make its perfomance better?

Looking at one model I found that the unit has listed in it’s service manual as having 2 Gig of Ram at the most. The manual lists only three different models of HDD’s all of them are 7200rpm models. But if you have a 4Gig Memory card lying around I would at least try one to see if it would see it just in case. (I wouldn’t buy one to find out though.) The Service manual doesn’t say what type of HDD’s it uses but it should be SATA. If you have a larger size I would test it if one is lying around. (Again I would test it first before purchasing one.) As for fixing performance more memory if you got only 1 Gig get 2 Gig’s or more if it will work. You could try a faster HDD or get a SSDD. And if you do not need Windows as your OS you could try many of the various Linux OS versions. Try their boot-able test versions first so you can see if the computers capabilities all function first before installing one flavor permanently. Good Luck!
